Inspiration in honor of Leiby Kletzky! We all live on!

Comfort for Leiby’s soul and family as its been a week everybody, also today is the 17th of Tammuz which is a fast day! 2 days ago was the Hilula (yahrtzeit) of the Ohr Hachayim Hakodesh, Rav Chaim (ben Moshe z’l) BenAtar. This is one small example how he lives on through our learning and kind deeds…

Come and see the finished building this Elul (the summer month before Rosh Hashanah) where u can see during Sleichot how good things and people live on!

The time ahead is called the 3 weeks and how they should be The happiest Three Weeks of the year, in the future, where it will always be Shabbos/Shabbot… The three-week time period from the 17th of Tamuz till the 9th of Av is a time of mourning, because the tragedies of the destruction of the Temple/ Beis HaMikdash began on the 17th of Tamuz and culminated in the burning of the Beis HaMikdash on the 9th of Av. The 3rd Temple/ Beis HaMikdash will be built as soon as we make a dwelling for Hashem in this world and this can be how our weekly Shabbos feels etc… We live on! Thanks to Boruch Yitzchak and friends for teaching us the importance of Shabbos and joy see

P.S. There is also a special order of Haftaros [the portion of the Prophets that is read after the weekly Torah portion on Shabbos] during this time period and even after till the end of the ten days of Teshuvah between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur in the new year, may it come for GOOD! The focus is change, comfort and promised times of eternal happiness, the perfect rememdy for these past weeks…

Ohr Hachayim was the greatest mekubal (kabbalistic) from Morocco of all time!!! May His merit contine wthin the 3 days of his Yahrzeit protect us and bring moshiach now, as he hinted that he had the soul of Moshiach (as did Baal Shem Tov Hakodesh say about him and even tried to travel to meet him), so what makes u more worthy now… we need him, more than ever…

In the days following the brutal murder of Leiby Kletzky, HY’D again we make this a dedication blog to him and his family, may his soul get peace and family be comforted…

The blog is being built , asap, to give us the needed strengthening in Faith/belief/knowledge that all is under G-d’s kind control…

It’s important for us all not to get depressed in any way, or give up at all (never!) …

Yitz Jordan- wants to point out: in the Talmud it teaches that when one sees a rainbow it means G-d wants to destroy the world but reminds Himself of the promise he made to Noah not to do so (the first rainbow, Genesis). and we had a rainbow over the entire Brooklyn on the same day Leiby Kletsky’s was found murdered.

Eli’s response-

Hashem is for sure calling out to us, this is the last short exile promised in the Zohar Hakodesh and our last main challenge is in the area of yesod, in keeping holy and this give us the ability to have true esteem and truly love and treat… our fellow person prop. otherwise if our yesod = symbolised by rainbow is messed up then G-d forbid we can not appreciate how amazing we our and how much love Hashem has for us, … Either way Hashem/G-d loves us no matter what , and He will sought us all out in a positive way ultimately , … but its hidden whats going to be with this Levi guy, as he took the purist person a young boy etc… lets hear only good news and have a Shabbos that we fight our own base self and unite with the shecinah (divine presence) with Shalom … so Hashem can bring our redeemer and get us all out of Brooklyn and just sayin,,,

We are on the last path of a great Truth and challenge, hang in there my friends…please make sure we represent the right path of family holiness from now on in all there statements and songs so the purity of our people especially in public like written above reflects our beautiful heritage … we all effect… each other and its not strange that last week we were all beyond upset with prev. posts and tweets, thanks for this one Yitz Jordan a sign of positive change! Unfortunate that we have to learn through a Korban and tradgedy like this … please see my dedications midnightrabbi1eligo

And please listen to this before the 3 weeks as we must hear the call in our lives… That Hashem is the Master of all and wants us to live on with kindness and truth … Help the youth live on in success and kindness…

My Rabbi said Motsai/After Shabbos/Shabbat… that we all need to be more like Dovid Hamelech/King David who would look out for everyone and take care of them… This kindness will protect all our people and be a light onto the world until Moshiach comes soon in our days…

Please do some more kindenss and donate to our great cause in the comments below thanks …

rabbi Price In Memory Of Leiby Kletzky
“Why?!!” “How?!! could Hashem let such a tragedy happen??”

Obviously, I am not the person to answer these questions. As I saw in an article in Aish. Com, which I will refer to later.

“Sadly, one of our greatest spiritual gifts – that of prophecy – is something we are lacking throughout our long, bitter exile. We can therefore never know with absolute clarity why this, or any other tragedy, has befallen us.”

I heard from Rabbi Krohn in the name of Rav Shimeon Shwabb that we use the word “HaMakom- The Omnipresent,” describing Hashem in three tragic situations.

By Nichum Aveilim-Consoling the Mourners -“HaMakom Yenachem esechem…,May the Omnipresent, console you….”

When one loses something we say “HaMakom Yemale chesronchem,- May the Omnipresent fill up your loss.”

And when we daven for the Captive we say, “Acheinu….HaMakom Yerachem aleihem…-Our Brothers…May the Omnipresent have mercy on them…”

Why do we choose for Hashem’s Name, HaMakom in these situations?

Because in those tragic places people tend to ask, “Where is the Ribono Shel Olom? How can He allow such a thing to happen?”

And we answer, “HaMakom…” He’s everywhere. He’s even here in this tragic situation, but we don’t always understand it.

I also saw a letter of consolation written by Rebetzin Feige Twersky of Milwaukee, where she writes,

“Hashem’s way are inscrutable, beyond our comprehension. But it is a fundamental principle of our faith that He knows what He’s doing. There is consolation in the certainty that this was not a meaningless fate-nor was it an arbitrary occurrence. There is purpose and meaning to everything that happens.

This brings to mind the classic exchange between Sir Bertrand Russel and a cleric. Russel commented, ‘I cannot believe in a G-D in whose world a child cries out in pain.’ To which the cleric responded, ‘As for me, I cannot believe in a world in which a child cries out in pain and there is no G-D to justify it.’ ”

[I even saw that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “Sherlock Holmes” once said about a terrible tragedy, “The ways of fate are indeed hard to understand. If there is not some compensation hereafter, then the world is a cruel jest.”]

Of course, they are only echoing, lehavdil, the Mesilas Yeshorim from Rav Moshe Chaim Luzzato who wrote in Chapter 1 when he speaks about the evidence of Olom Habo- the World to Come, “…What is a person’s life in this world, who is really happy and at peace in this world?…How many pains, troubles sicknesses, [there are]…and after all this—death…!”

  3. Creed Of Noah says :

Some blog readers (and many google searches) had questioned what the meaning behind the sudden appearance of the double rainbow coincidentally before Leibys HY”D funeral could mean. Was it some kind of sign or message and if so what might that be? No one can know for sure, but just speculate and theorise. To help inquisitive minds understand this better here is a viewpoint that I hope will be of some comfort and help the healing process somewhat.

A Message to the Frum Yidden in America.

First of all I want to offer my deepest condolences to the parents of Leiby z”l and to all Am Yisroel.

Leiby z”l was obviously a Korbon, a Korbon Tzibur. He died Al Kiddush Hashem. It’s not so obvious why this terrible murder would be considered Kiddush Hashem. But indeed this little Leiby was killed on Kiddush Hashem. His soul was pure and he was killed not by a Goy but by a Jew who was obviously deranged. He died because of our terrible Aveiros. He died in order to draw attention to the fact that we – Am Yisroel – all over the world, but especially in America, have forgotten what it is to be a true Jew.

We have strayed in the worst way turning our Yiddishkeit into plastic, turning it away from Hakadosh Boruch Hu. Holding on to the tail of the Egel Hazahav and letting ourselves be dragged into the world of Gashmius (materialistic world).

The average frum Jew in America learns Torah, works, wears a beard and payos, davens more or less 3 times a day, eats what is stamped kosher and on the outside at least looks more or less like an observant Jew. However, the truth is that the modern American frum Jew, the so-called frum Jew, is very taken up with gashmius. Many (at least up to just before 2008) lived in opulence; fancy houses, large cars, spectacular vacations etc., discarding important details like Tznius and Teshuva. Now times are much harder. People are suffering more generally and therefore their hearts are more open for change. However, even with all the financial difficulties and all the unusual tragedies the frum community continues moving along in the direction of oblivion; in the direction that the Egel Hazahav is pulling us.

Life of a Jew in America has become superficial and the opposite direction of Yiddeshkeit. We dress our aveiros in tzidkus, but when you scratch the surface of the mitzvos you see that they are really aveiros, and therefore little Leiby was a shock to the frum community. Little Leiby wasn’t killed by an anti-semitic goy, not an Arab, not a Christian, not a Negro not a white, but he was killed by a so called Yid. Our communities are being slaughtered by so called frum Yidden and their lies. We are being taught some kind of twisted version of Yiddishkeit and educating our children in the same Yiddishkeit that is non Jewish. We educate them to be selfish even though we give much tzedokah. We educate them in lack of tznius, even though supposedly Am Yisroel is more tzniusdik then any other Am. We educate them in truth but we really pull them to the lie; the lie being that the gashmius dressed up in Yidishkeit is the truth. But gashmius is the lie and Yiddishkeit is the truth and we must go back to the Yiddishkeit that once was, to the Yiddishekeit of out forefathers the greatest Tzadikim who lived on very little gashmius but on great amounts of Torah and truth and closeness to Hakodosh Boruch Hu. They were pure and modest with true modesty and true purity.

The next months will bring upon the world many tremendous tragedies, worst than the last few years. The gashmius for most people will take an even greater fall and the world will become extremely dangerous as it has already become.
Wake up Am Yisroel! This is all about you! Leiby is all about you! Search your souls, search your actions see where you are really lacking, change your ways. I don’t know if many of you are even capable of understanding this because you have strayed so far in your basic conceptions of Yiddishkeit that’s it’s hard for me to even visualize your coming back. Take the first step and I am sure Hakodosh Boruch hu will take you by the hand Kavyachol and lead you back to the right way.

Q: Why is it a Kiddush Hashem if he was killed by a Yid?
A: Because it does not matter who killed him. It was the Goyishkeit in ourselves that killed him so that makes it a Kiddush Hashem. A true Yid would never kill a child as this man did, only if he is totally deranged. And even so, a real Yiddishah Neshomah could never be guilty of such cruelty; therefore he died Al Kiddush Hashem. The Goyishkeit in us is what killed him.

Q: Isn’t Leiby’s story a Chilul Hashem to the world at large?
A: Chilul Hashem that came out of Leiby’s story is only this; that our dirty laundry has been taken out and pranced around and shown to the world. It’s shows to the world that Hashem has put us into disfavor. That’s very bad, but if Boro Park changes and does complete teshuva, the whole world will change too B’ezras Hashem.

Q: What can we do not to forget this great tragedy like we have just forgotten the passing of so many Gedolim?
A: I am not sure that it will not be forgotten, Chas VeSholom, because we are in a difficult situation. Each Yid has to force himself to remember the lesson that should have been learned this past week. However since we have very few leaders who are going to interpret what has happened and really try to pressure Am Yisroel through their words and their supplications, and through their davening to help Am Yisroel return to true yiddishkeit, I am very, very worried if it will actually be remembered. If it is forgotten, Chas VeSholom, our end will be much worse, than what happened to Leiby.

Q: Why was Boro Park chosen by Hashem for this incident above all the other places in the world?
A: Because Boro Park is the center of the Egel Hazahav of the Yidden. The Egel Hazahav which is the Goyisha type materialism that has infiltrated every Jewish community in the world including in Eretz Yisroel, but the center of it all is Boro Park.

Q: If we would have done Teshuva in the past two weeks when Four Gedolim died would this have happened?
A: You can’t say, “what if?” It’s obvious that it didn’t happen, so Hashem sent Leiby. The only thing I can say absolutely about Leiby is that Leiby’s Neshomah is clearly a Neshomah of a great Tzaddik.

Q: Why did Leiby’s body have to be mutilated?
A: Because we are mutilating our children spiritually with all our Gashmius. It’s even worse than what the murderer did to Leiby, because he killed only his body but we are killing our childrens’ souls.

Q: With what Gashmius are people destroying their children souls?
A:The first and foremost is Tznius which touches everyone; men and women. It touches the next generations. Because of this laxity in Tznius in every form we have done Aveiros that will be detrimental in the worst way to the future generations. Kedusha among Yidden is at its lowest and this is the worst of the worst of the Aveiros that we are passing on to our children. Yeshivas, schools, and all Frum institutions are dangerous places very often, and the lack of Kedushah among men and women is taken with a grain of salt.

We have no one to teach us or guide us with a firm hand. No Rav, Rebbe, or leader to guide us in the way of Kedushah. The Jewish home for the most part is parutz (infiltrated by immodest ways). The Kedushah has left the Jewish home in many cases. Rabonim have reacted softly to extreme breaches in Kedushah in the home, and therefore the Shechinah, the third and main partner in the marriage, has very often left. When the Shechinah leaves, the Jewish home is left only to Goyishkeit. This is the main negative thing that has happened and this lack of Tznius in every form, (Whether it is in the relationship with a husband or a wife, or if it is in all kinds of forbidden activities, or if it’s with dress, or if its with seemingly not so terrible things like men being too friendly to women or women being to friendly too men, or all things of that sort), has taken us to all kinds of realms of superficial silly activities that water down our Yiddishkeit.

We have turned our Chessed into a satire. People give money to Rabonim to build Yeshivas, to build Shuls, to build communities, but they want that leader to promise them that they will be in turn successful in business. If it does not work out the way they want, they blame the Rav, or Rebbe, or leader but they don’t turn to Hashem. It is as if Hashem is not a partner here chas veshalom. Only the Rabbi is the one they are working through, not Hashem. Many have all kinds of twisted ideas of Yiddishkeit. Although there are many people who are really Baalei Chessed, the most are not.

There are all kind of Yidden learning Torah day and night but if their wives work in offices and speak to men freely and don’t dress Tzinusdik, then they have lost it, they have lost their Torah, they have lost their learning, they have lost it all.

There is also another very big problem in America and in the world. The Americans are particularly lax with their kosher foods. The Americans must have their restaurants, must have their delicacies even if it means eating foods with questionable hechsherim.

There is a big question about the Kashrus of the Shechitahs and even though after the big scandal some years ago, still the Bedikah of the Shechitah is generally very lax. I also must say that the things that we eat, the style of our foods have definitely become Goyish. Between the Pizza and the Sushi you can vomit.

There is a plague in America called speaking – Shmusing- during Davening, especially during Krias HaTorah, Hashem Yishmor. This is a prime example of how far afield many Yidden have gotten. Speaking during davening or Krias HaTorah is a sign that the Yid who does it has lost his kesher with HaKodosh Boruch Hu. This kind of Yid is on remote control and stops Davening whenever it suits him, and his heart is not into his Davening. Therefore he has distanced himself in a great way from the truth, from Hashem.

Answering phones and texting during Davening is absolutely horrendous, and no Yid should be answering a phone or texting during Davening. It’s just too ridiculous for words. How can I tell people they should not text or talk on cell phones during Davening? If a person does that how could he ever understand that he is wrong? He has fallen so low. He has distanced himself; he has become a Goy in Jewish clothing with no fear of Shomayim.

Q: How should we spend the next few weeks?
A: Am Yisroel should spend the next three weeks in prayer and in tears, sit on the floor putting sack on their body, and cry and cry and cry for all of our aveiros. Ask Hashem to help Am Yisroel change and become pure Yidden, pure souls. Maybe then we will be able to greet Moshiach Tzidkainu BeRachamim. However I don’t believe most of the Yidden will do this. They will smirk and say that’s ridiculous. If our Rabonim are not telling us to do it, why should we do it? Just because a handicapped kid tells us to do so?

Mark my words you righteous sinners the next few months will bring terrible happenings from every direction. You will cry out in fear and confusion. Make sure that when the time comes to cry out for help that you cry out to Hashem and not to your false gods and prophets!

Little Leiby was our Korbon and I only daven to Hashem that his blood was not wasted. My heart is so full of sadness. I cry very hard for Leiby’s parents and for Leiby himself. But like the Mitzvah of Shiluach Hakan, I hope that this loss and the tears of the mother will bring about the total Teshuva of Am Yisroel.

      “Why Are We Living”

Time is moving on and we are definitely getting very close to the Geula Shelaima. I think every true Jew, whether he is close to Hashem or a bit farther away, feels now is the time that the world is going to change completely. The Frum, the believing Jew will feel a kind of closeness to Hashem that he never felt before, even though every morning when he gets up he can feel a strange and frightening foreboding of what’s going to be in the future.

The Jew that is not so close to Hashem will also feel the fear and he will start thinking what this life is about. What do I have? What are my goals? What does it matter if I go to a football game or not? What does it matter if I get the job exactly that I want or get into the right university just right for me? What does it matter? What really matters in this life? All the entertainment? All the social life? What is life all about? Why are we living? Is it just one big accident, Chas Vesholom, an accident that brought us into life against our will to suffer, Chas Vesholom? The fear of what’s coming in the near future together with the suffering that we are already going through, are bringing some people, some Jews to question, at least to stop for a moment from their partying to ask what is this about, why is this happening.

These questions are not usually asked here in Eretz Yisroel because we are used here in Eretz Yisroel to go through many crisis and then the crisis disappears and we continue going on. Of course a certain amount of people are killed Shelo Naida and so on and so forth, but the ones that are left are the great majority and they can continue on with the life that they left, the life of enjoyment, of entertainment, of flying off to Europe, to Thailand, to who knows where, and enjoying themselves. As for the Frum we continue with our grand Bar Mitzvas and weddings and our own type of social entertainment. We continue with our restaurants, of course the most kosher, and all our entertainments with the best Hechsherim, our non-Tzniusdik dress with the best Hechsherim, and so on and so forth. Now however many people feel inside that we are not going to come out of this frightening projection of future events so easily. It’s not just going to pass.

There is going to be a tremendous change in the world, a tremendous change that will in the end destroy much of the world, and therefore there are those, that are starting to feel great fear, have bad dreams, unnerving dreams and wake up very many times with a choking feeling with a fear that grabs a person and makes it difficult to breathe, a fear that makes a person want to jump up out of bed and feel alive again and this is all from the fear and the spiritual pressure of the world that is about to explode, a world that is about to change completely. This world of ours is going to disappear the way it is now, and we must change also, so that we can survive the greatest change since the creation of the world. All the dire predictions that are being made for the near future should be taken seriously if we want to be part of what’s going to be, be part of the Geula Shelaima, and a much more spiritual life. We have to become close to Hashem. We have to do Hashem’s will. We have to be Yidden the way we are supposed to be.

We must! We must do Hashem’s will completely in every aspect, to bend ourselves completely to Hashem, to His Ratzon. Otherwise we will never be able to go into the new world of Moshiach Tzidkainu.

I’ve many times spoken to you again and again on the subject, and maybe you are tired of hearing this even though I’ve tried saying it in a different way each time to make you understand better and better. I will try again anyway. I will try to make you understand that this is a great year. This year is a great and frightening year. This year is when many things will change in the greatest way. The wars have already begun. Blood is flowing freely. We are not even impressed anymore when the barbarians cut people’s heads off, but we are terribly disturbed or will be terribly disturbed when we won’t be able to get a kosher hamburger or coca cola or just plain food. We will be terribly disturbed when we see great cities falling, destroyed together with their population, Shelo Naida, all disappearing.

We will be greatly disturbed to say the least. How will we be able to overcome our feelings? How will we be able to get through all of this because even if we don’t actually see this happening next to us it will be such a shock when we know so many people in those places and even if we don’t know them still it will be a shock. It will be a terrible shock. I don’t think that any generation before ours since the Creation, except for of course Sedom and Ammorah experienced such a thing, such a catastrophe, such a horrible terrible type of destruction. Even in Sedom and Ammorah it wasn’t the size of what’s going to be now. It’s dwarfed next to what’s going to be now. Don’t you understand? There will be plenty of bloodshed here in Eretz Yisroel, Shelo Naida, but it won’t be destroyed. Those that are far from Hashem and don’t have the Zechus to come back to Hashem will be destroyed with the buildings, will be destroyed with the Edomites and the Yishmaelites and all other peoples that don’t accept Hakodosh Boruch Hu as their Creator. So what do we have to do? How can we get through all of this? We have to believe completely that whatever Hashem does is for our good, no matter what.

There is only one relationship in this world. It is the person with Hakodosh Boruch Hu. That may sound difficult for you because you have children, you have husbands, you have wives that you love very much. True, but when push comes to shove we are only the children of Hakodosh Boruch Hu, all of us, and we have been in many Gilgulim here in this world and in every Gilgul we might have had a different husband, a different wife, children not always the same, and we have had different situations that we had to overcome. We are so low and now is our chance finally to pull ourselves up and come back.

When we get to the point where we greet Moshiach, Be’ezras Hashem, don’t worry. Every Neshoma will have its true, true Zivig and every child will know its true parents, and we all will know and feel and have no question about the fact that we as a people have only one Father and that is Hakodosh Boruch Hu, and our whole lives, our whole beings will be involved in only one occupation coming closer and closer to Him. In order to come closer to Him we will eventually drop all our flesh and blood characteristics and become totally, totally spiritual and become one with Him.

Lately we have seen many tragedies. Tonight one of the Bochurim that was killed in the tragic car accident in Holland was buried. He has a very special name, Langleben, “a long life”. May he have a long life, a life of eternity, he was a Bochur that was working to be close to Hashem as was the other boy that was killed. Both trying their best to be good Jews, trying to do what Hashem wants us to do.

Why did they have to die? I can’t answer you why these particular ones had to die, but I can tell you this that the latest tragedies are a message to us that we must, must do Teshuva, and realize what we are doing wrong. When Hashem brings down so many tragedies on Am Yisroel at one time we must stop and think and take stock of our lives of what we may be doing wrong.

There was a terrible incident in Crown Heights also, and lately there have been many tragedies all over the Frum Jewish world Shelo Naidah. We must open our eyes and try to figure out where we are going wrong. It’s not a pat on the back for us. It’s a Potsh in the face for us so we will wake up.

So please understand that Hashem is not happy. He wants to save His Am, but generally speaking we are going in the wrong direction. Am Yisroel you better wake up! Stop the Machlokes. Stop the Pritzus. Stop the running after the Gashmius. Stop the gluttony and come back to what’s real. The only thing that is real is Hakodosh Boruch Hu and His Torah..
